Long time eh? I've finally got a website editing application up and running on my computer in college so I'll be changing things around more on the site. I've found some files I should have put up here a long time ago so look out for new stuff. I also think I'll be changing around the entire site in the coming weeks so that it is easier to keep you posted on what I've done. I've added a link on the main page where you can preview the new version and tell me what to change if you have suggestions.
As far as news, in Prague this summer I made a project with Billy Chew that I want to add to the site soon, and this fall Modern Plays, and I'm Nostalgic played at the Sidewalk Moving Picture Festival where they got awards and great feedback. Thanks for visiting!

In Birmingham for a few weeks I've been creating the website you are now watching. Notable new entries are a finalized large version of both Queen Kauui and So Uh, Life, Life Is Math which are found under Shorts/VM120. I also threw up some Soppy Suit films including Scramble films Pavement Casserole and Brax to the Maxxx. I hope I will have a not interlaced (liney) version of Pavement Casserole up soon. Stu, Zach, and I are working on a silly summer video to be posted one day soon.

You may notice that you are currently visiting dscheinert.net. Awesome huh? I now have an official web page where I will be posting all my latest stuff, as well as whatever old stuff I can dig up and compress for the site. Be on the lookout for Soppy Suit films, various projects from the past years, and some of my shorts that have never been shown anywhere but film festivals and my bedroom. Any and all that visit this site, PLEASE email me and let me know that you came and what you thought. The worst thing about showing movies on the internet is I don't know if you laughed or cried or dozed off.

Big update today. Hopefully adding both the audio stills project and the final video project to the website. Keep an eye out for the new Swolen Monkey Showcase youtube account with videos from our upcoming show. We also created a Campus Movie Fest film that was selected for the international grand finale in Atlanta. That's top 16 out of thousands which is so flatteringly insane because we intentionally tried so little. It's called DANGER: High Voltage and you'll see it eventually whether you want to you not.

(or at least thats the date the computer is telling me while whispering sweetly "trust me...trusssst me...")
Today the audio stills must go up so I'll be adding a very rough version of my stills project in the hopes of adding a nice completed one in a week or so. Hope you like it, I do. Thanks to the performances of Seth, Ellis and Joe. Also keep your eye out for the upcoming A Life of Crime, my latest Zebro short, of which I am ever so proud.

The Music video page now has a version of the Modern Plays video. I've been workin on this video off and on for the past ten months or so, and it's finally done. It goes without saying that I feel as though life lacks a purpose as of late, but hopefully your enjoyment of the video is worth the unending pain of which my now aimless life consists.
In other news I got an A on this website and will have to complete a new project in the coming weeks.
